Class 1a - 09:00 - Bishop Burton Arena - KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice - First Round

Rule 316. Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 90cm.

First place rosette kindly sponsored by KBIS Insurance Horses / ponies may only compete in one section. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule - 76.6

Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

British Novice:

Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

a) For Horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 125 points. Four Double Clears will qualify - in accordance with Rule 316.6.

b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2014 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of four years or under in the same calendar year as the British Novice Final - in accordance with Rule 316.6

Qualifies for: KBIS Insurance British Novice Championship - Second Round.

Qualifying period yearly 1st May - 30th April inclusive.

Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four KBIS Insurance British Novice First Round competitions held in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in and attend four KBIS Insurance British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A rules (Rule 191). Horses in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain a double clear round qualification.

If combined with an open:

In Category 1 Shows and in the event of 30 starters or more the Open and the British Novice section will be split with two sets of prize money awarded.

In Category 2 Shows the sections must always be split with two sets of prize money awarded, irrespective of starters.

Prizes: 1st: £30.00, 2nd: £20.00, 3rd: £18.00, 4th: £15.00, 5th: £15.00, Total: £98.00

Class 1b - 09:00 - Bishop Burton Arena - Senior 90cm Open

Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 90cm.

For registered horses in Grades: A, B & C. Ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members who will be aged 12 years or over in the current calendar year. Horses / ponies may only compete in one section. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule - 76.6

Prizes: 1st: £30.00, 2nd: £20.00, 3rd: £18.00, 4th: £15.00, 5th: £15.00, Total: £98.00

Class 2a - Bishop Burton Arena - Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery - First Round

Rule 314. Single Phase. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 1.00m.

Horses / ponies may only compete in one section. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule - 76.6

Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

a) For Horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 225 points. Four Double Clears will qualify - in accordance with Rule 314.6.

b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2013 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of five years or under in the same calendar year as the Discovery Final - in accordance with Rule 314.6.

Qualifies for: Nupafeed Supplements Discovery Championship Second Round.

Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April inclusive.

Class 4 - Bishop Burton Arena - Blue Chip Joint RLF Power Championship Qualifier

Rule 312. Table A7. Speed 325mpm. Start Height 1.10m.

In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule - 76.6

For registered horses in grade C which have not won a total of 375 points, (unless Age Rule applies), to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

The first 8 horses qualify for the final, held at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down the line. Qualifiers must jump clear in the first round. There will be dual qualification of double clears for the Senior Newcomers first round. (Age rule applies)

Please note that in accordance with the amendment to BS Rule 312 all 6yr old horses are now eligible regardless of points won, but the horse must be 6yrs old in the year of the Final ie 2018 to be able to compete in the Championship. Therefore any horses which are currently 6yrs old and have won more than 375 points are unable to qualify in any qualifiers held from 1st October 2017 to 31st December 2017. Qualification does not pass down the line.

Riders who qualify must submit their details at www.bluechipchamps.co.uk to register their qualification.

For registered horses in Grades: A, B & C. Ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members who will be aged 12 years or over in the current calendar year. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule - 76.6

Prizes: 1st: £50.00, 2nd: £35.00, 3rd: £25.00, 4th: £20.00, 5th: £16.00, 6th: £16.00, Total: £162.00

Class 6 - Bishop Burton Arena - Blue Chip Karma Performance Championship Qualifier

Rule 310. Table A7. Speed 350mpm. Start Height 1.20m.

In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule - 76.6

For registered horses in grade C which have not won a total of 700 points,(unless Age Rule applies), to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

The first 8 horses qualify for the final, held at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down the line. Qualifiers must jump clear in the first round. There will be dual qualification of double clears for the Equitop Myoplast Senior Foxhunter first round. (Age rule applies)

Please note that in accordance with the amendment to BS Rule 310 all 7yr old horses are now eligible regardless of points won, but the horse must be 7yrs old in the year of the Final ie 2018 to be able to compete in the Championship. Therefore any horses which are currently 7yrs old and have won more than 700 points are unable to qualify in any qualifiers held from 1st October 2017 to 31st December 2017. Qualification does not pass down the line.
